About WAHS

Congratulations! You’ve made the lifesaving decision to adopt your next pet. We are eager to help you find your next best friend. Adoption is a life- long commitment to the newest member of your family. Before you visit the shelter, we recommends that you consider these important questions from the ASPCA….

  • Is it the right pet for my family members?
  • Who will be the primary caretaker for the pet?
  • Can I afford the pet?
  • Am I ready to make a long-term committment?
  • Am I commited to making this pet a good citizen?

🚨 2 Dogs and a Cat Found – Help Us Reunite Them with Their Families! 🐾

Two dogs and one cat were recently brought into the Western Arizona Humane Society after being found by caring members of the public. One of the dogs was held for 4 days in hopes of finding the owner before being brought to us. All three animals are now safe in our care, and we’re doing everything we can to get them back home.

If you believe one of them may be yours, please visit the shelter with proof of ownership and vaccination records.

Let’s bring these pets back to where they belong — home. ❤️Image attachmentImage attachment
